Umoja pride 2024

Join us for the annual Umoja Pride Festival, formerly known as D Street Pride! This year's event will take place on Saturday, June 1st at our new home - Stand UP Alaska, Alaskans Take A Stand, and Alaska Civics Academy.

Come as you are and enjoy an open house event with music, food, fun and friendship. We'll provide the basics of hot dogs and hamburgers, but we encourage you to bring a side dish or beverages to share. Don't worry if you're not a cook - soda and water are always welcome!

DJ Big Gay Mike will be back again this year with his amazing music, and we invite local vendors to set up on the lawn. There is no charge for vendors, but please note that we will not provide electricity or other necessary supplies.

This year's festival will be ultra casual, so bring your favorite blanket or chair and get ready to have some fun! We'll have epic sidewalk chalk designs, a bouncy house, and information about our upcoming events during #SocialJusticeSummer24.
